National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has released an official notification for direct recruitment on an all-India competitive examination basis for various Group A, B, and C posts including Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts), Library & Information Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Accountant, and Stenographer. Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts): MBA (Finance) through regular course from a recognized University/Institute.
- Library & Information Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science.
- Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with the other as a compulsory subject and Diploma/Certificate in Translation or 2 years’ experience in translation work.
- Accountant: Bachelor’s degree with Intermediate CA or CMA qualification.
- Stenographer: Bachelor’s degree with shorthand dictation speed of 80 wpm and transcription (50 min for English / 65 min for Hindi).
Age Limit: 18 – 30 years (28 years for Stenographer) as on 15 December 2025. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
Experience: Not required except for Junior Translation Officer (2 years experience in translation desirable).

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT)

Minimum qualifying marks: UR – 40%, OBC/EWS – 35%, SC/ST/PwBD – 30%.
